This is an auspicious month, as we will experience the effects of two eclipses, one on July 7th, and one on July 21st! As eclipses have been the subject of much superstition and curiosity throughout history, it's time to clear up what these two events will actually reveal. The July 7th eclipse will be Lunar, and Penumbral, which means the Moon enters only the Penumbra of the Earth. The Penumbra is the space of partial illumination between the perfect shadow, on all sides, and the full light.
An Eclipse is an Astronomical event that occurs when one celestial body moves into the shadow of another. The term in derived from the ancient Greeks from the verb, "to leave behind. When an Eclipse occurs inside a Solar System, it forms an alignment of three or more celestial bodies in the same gravitational system along a straight line. The term eclipse is most often used to describe either a Solar Eclipse, when the Moon's Shadow crosses the Earth's surface, or a Lunar Eclipse, when the Moon moves into the shadow of Earth.
This first eclipse will be at 15 24 Capricorn, on July 7th, at 5:21 a.m. Capricorn birth individuals may feel this energy, depending on how close it contacts your Sun or planets, as well as the opposing sign of Cancer, at the same degree. ARIES: The eclipse point falls in your 10th house of career, and resounds in your 4th house, so the point of impact for you is one worth watching. It trines Saturn in your 6 house of work and service, so there is something nice brewing here. With your ruling planet, Mars, Biquintile Pluto, your talents, and creative touches are sure to be seen and approved. This will inspire you to face challenges, and overcome any obstacles. It might also deliver to you, a nice new career option.
TAURUS: The eclipse point falls in your 9th house of higher education, international travel, advanced training, publishing, advertising, religion, etc. with the reflection in your 3rd house of teaching, education again, and daily travel, certainly highlights your energies being channeled into learning or teaching. With your ruling planet Quincunx Pluto, however, you will need to make an adjustment to power, perhaps something to do with self empowerment. Education will clearly give you more power.
GEMINI: With the Eclipse point in your 8th house of shared finances, spiritual and psychological healing, and opposing 2nd house, of personal values, and income, you will think of many ways to bring in finances. Perhaps writing, or being diverse will pay off. With Mercury, your ruling planet Decile Venus, and conjunct Mars, you will surely have the power to make yourself heard, your talents known, and gain some financial rewards by doing so.
CANCER: The Lunar eclipse is at 15 Capricorn in your 7th house of partners, so be prepared for something important happening in relationships. Eclipses bring changes, so will this add or delete someone from your life? As Saturn is in your 3rd house of communications which trines the Eclipse Point, conversations may well turn the tide in your favor. Someone one older, wise, or more established, could pave the way for you. With Venus in Gemini in your 12th house of hidden issues, Quincunx Pluto in your 7th house, you may waver as you try to make a decision.
LEO: The Lunar Eclipse point is at 15 Capricorn in your 6th house of work, health, service, and small pets. With your ruling planet, the Sun, conjunct Mercury in your 12th house, sextile Saturn in your 2nd house of income, you might choose to stay behind the scenes, and just relax now. While the call of finances is strong with Mercury (our thoughts) conjunct Venus (money & love), and Quintile (disciplined thought and communication) can create success in various creative fields. Those hidden thoughts are what can create something tremendous for you now.
VIRGO: With the Lunar Eclipse point at 15 Capricorn, in your 5th house of love, children, creativity, and fun, this points to the fact that you need to take a look at these issues in your life now. With the counter point in your 11th house of friends and social connections, it's time to connect with other like minded individuals and enjoy life. With Mercury, your ruling planet in your 11th house, Decile Venus in your 10th house Quincunx Pluto in your 5th house, take time away from work, and step into the world of play no matter how good it feels to succeed.
LIBRA: The Lunar Eclipse point at 15 Capricorn, falls in your 4th house of family and home, so you can expect some changes here. A family member might need some help with education, or perhaps you can't make up your mind which path of education to study. Your ruling planet, Venus, Quincunxes (adjustment) Pluto in your 4th house, so you may choose to leave, or change your foundations. This could also reflect off the Sun and Mercury in your 10th house of career; perhaps it's time to relocate for a new opportunity.
SCORPIO: The Lunar Eclipse point at 15 Capricorn, falls in your 3rd house of Internet, local studies, siblings, and close by travel. Your words can heal or kill so be kind to those around you now. If you are in therapy, or in sales, this will work for you. Relationships with siblings or neighbors could be testy. With the Sun shining in your 9th house beside Mercury, your thoughts turn to home and/or travel. With an 8th house Venus, Quincunx Pluto in your 3rd house, conversations and power struggles could have to do with finances and shared values, perhaps even struggles with sexual issues.
SAGITTARIUS: With the Lunar Eclipse point at 15 Capricorn in your 2nd house of income and finances, with an opposing Sun and Mercury in your 8th house of shared finances, with Venus Quincunx Pluto in your 2nd, this week is about money. You may feel driven to purchase something, hence the Quincunx, but you may also have to explain to someone else as well. With Jupiter, your ruling planet, in your 3rd house square Mars in your 6th house of work and service, you will have the gusto to manifest money now, no matter what.
CAPRICORN: As the Eclipse Point at 15 Capricorn falls in your first house of YOU, you better tune in to see what this will bring. With the reflection of the Eclipse in your 7th house (Sun and Mercury) sextile Saturn in Virgo in your 9th, you could meet someone while traveling, or while taking a class who will mean something to you. With Venus in Gemini in your 6th house of service, and pets, you could start a pet sitting business, or find yourself writing something having to do with them. Communications is important this week, especially with someone special. Speak from your heart.
AQUARIUS: The Eclipse Point at 15 Capricorn falls in your 12th house of the unconscious. Will you consciously confront your life or subconsciously hide or sweep things away? How will you seek spiritual and positive growth now?
