Astrological Forecast for January 2010

Happy New Year 2010. The planet of good fortune and expansion is going to start moving through the sign of Pisces on January 18th, 2010 giving extra luck to those born under the sign of the fish this year.
This month Capricorn is trying to come to terms with reality, Aquarius may attract romance, Leo the Lion feels stuck, Libra is thinking it over (relationships) and Aquarius is shaking things up.
Saturn turns retrograde on January 13th and is the planet associated with Capricorn. It will turn direct on May 30th, 2010. Now we have the two strategic war planets (Mars and Saturn) in retrograde motion by the 13th indicating plans are being made for a large military strike in Afghanistan and possibly elsewhere in the Middle East.
Mercury is in retrograde motion till January 15th, 2010. On January 15th we have a new Moon solar eclipse in Capricorn at 25 degrees which is conjunct the Sun, Venus and the North Node. The first half of this month effects those born under the sign of Capricorn big time since all of the planets mentioned are in the sign of Capricorn. And with Mars and Saturn in retrograde motion and Mercury stationing direct on this new Moon solar eclipse day terrorist activity may increase as we have witnessed in the later part of December.
Capricorn is questioning its motivation in relationships (Venus) and the direction it wants to take (North Node) for a more expanded version of what relationships are meant to be. The conservative serious approach for Capricorn is no longer working. The first half of the month Capricorn’s may find communication breakdown in partnerships of both personal and business. Capricorn needs to take a vacation and learn how to play, laugh and just have fun.
Since Saturn is in the sign of Libra till April of 2010, those born under the sign of Libra are also questioning what motivates them in relationships and releases any relationships that are holding them back.
The best thing to do is be patient and wait till after the 15th of January. Don’t forget that Capricorn rules big business and government. Trying to get things going in the first half of January 2010 for healthcare and the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan will look dysfunctional and more order will appear in the second half of January.
Solar eclipses are a time to reboot the computer software of our inner consciousness. It is time to let go of old things that don’t work in your life anymore and embrace all of the wonderful new. Everyone will be questioning what really matters in there lives. What do you value the most?
On January 17th Jupiter moves into the sign of Pisces. Jupiter was the natural ruler of Pisces before Neptune was discovered. Jupiter feels very comfortable in the sign of the fish and those born under the sign of Pisces or having this sign ruling their rising or Moon placement will find extra luck on their side in 2010.
The affirmation for the first half of this month is: I AM OPEN AND RECEPTIVE TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL NEW THAT THE UNIVERSE HAS FOR ME.
Venus moves into the sign of Aquarius on the 18th increasing the law of attraction and charm for those born under this air sign representing a new era of life. Those born under this sign could fall in love this month and enjoy the thrills that computers provide. The humanitarian spirit shows itself more from the 18th of January through the first week of February.
The Sun enters Aquarius on the 19th just after Venus enters Aquarius. As the Sun moves towards a conjunction with Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune around the middle of February, those born under Aquarius are turning to higher intuitive knowledge mixed with technologies that help heal ones inner consciousness and bring deep insight into the workings of the spiritual world.
The full Moon on January 30th is in the sign of Leo at 10 degrees. This happens around 1:18AM and the full Moon is conjunct Mars in retrograde motion. Those born under the sign of Leo want to shine but feel frustrated emotionally (Moon) because Mars slows the physical movement towards new plans down.
This energy can frustrate the Lion because those born under the sign of Leo need to feel in control. When the Lion wants to move life to make things better they feel caught between other forces that will not allow them the freedom to do so.
The good news is Mars will turn direct on March 10, 2010 and allow those born under the sign of Leo to implement whatever they had planned during this time. This full Moon is also good for the performing arts and musical creative expressions of art. Since this full Moon opposes the Sun and Venus conjunction in Aquarius, creativity will be different or original than it has been. Maybe a new style of music will dawn or a new Broadway play which involves a humanitarian message will become a smash.
The affirmation for the second half of this month is: I AM PATIENCE. I KNOW MY DESIRES WIL BE FULLFILLED SOON.
