Astrological Forecast for April 2010

We are starting off April with temperatures in the 70’s. Get out and soak up natural vitamin D3 which is getting a lot of attention these days. We need vitamin D3 to digest calcium and we need both of these nutrients to turn acidic body fluids towards an alkaline environment.
Anyway, the astrological signatures for the month of April have a personality that can’t make up its mind until May 13th rolls around. Until then Taurus is reorganizing there financial portfolio, Capricorn is slowing down, Virgo is slowing down, Aries is slowing down, Gemini wants to dance and Scorpio is ready to explode.
Mercury moves into the sign of Taurus on April 2nd (Good Friday) and those born under the sign of Taurus are most tested for the entire month of April and May. Financial questions are front and center.
Taurus is the natural ruler of the 2nd house of money. The instability in the financial market internationally has forced many to consider other options for financial investments. I said in the 90’s that an investment in anything of the earth and real estate would be best as these investments provide stability during a down time. Less of a gamble. I mentioned Gold would be a good investment and now many businesses are making money off of gold and many are putting gold in their portfolios.
Pluto turns retrograde in the sign of Capricorn on April 6th allowing those born under this sign to evaluate life from a quieter perspective. Those born under this sign will find themselves questioning life more. Can we trust big business and big government anymore? Maybe more time spent with our families is more valuable than spending more time working? A new definition for slowly climbing to the top may turn into slowly letting go of the need to climb so high.
Saturn in retrograde motion till the end of May moves back into the sign of Virgo on April 7th allowing those born under the sign of Virgo to consider looking at the details of their lives more closely. Saturn will stay in the sign of Virgo till the middle of July. Since Virgo is the natural ruling sign of health the new health care bill will continue to go through more evaluations from the public at large.
Their could also be some health problems associated with viruses as Mercury, Pluto and Saturn are in retrograde motion. A deeper look into health problems could bring up better ways to deal with diseases such as Heart problems, cancers of all types and diabetes around the month of August.
The new Moon in the sign of Aries on April 14th is at 24 degrees. It starts at 8:29AM EDT. The push and pull feeling that is a theme for the month of April is created from two signs. Aries and Taurus.
Aries wants quick results and Taurus wants to take time to consider things. Those born under the sign of Aries will feel a deeper spiritual cause as the Sun and Moon sextile Neptune on this new Moon day. If Aries acts too fast it creates clashes with others. Better to breath deeply and smooth your personality out to avoid confrontations with others.
Both the new and full Moon of this month has a Taurus signature which is associated with the material world and self worth. With Pluto squaring both Saturn and Uranus we could see an increase in terrorist activity and I did predict in my 2010 predictive column that the war in Afghanistan will become aggressive from April to August of this year.
Earthquake activity also remains an issue because of the Pluto, Saturn and Uranus combination of this new Moon. Tornado activity could also increase because of the Taurus signature and the Earth is going to react in some way as Pluto goes very deep into areas of the Earth that we are not aware of in retrograde motion along with Saturn in deep retrograde motion till it turns direct at the end of May.
Mercury turns retrograde on April 18th and will turn direct on May 11th. It will remain in the sign of Taurus till the middle of June. Again, slowly thinking about life and planning is the signature for both April and May for the signs of Aries, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.
The affirmation for the first half of April: I CAN FIND BALANCE IN MY LIFE. I AM PATIENCE.
The Sun moves into the sign of Taurus on April 20th at 12:30AM EDT. Earth day is on April 22nd when we can find the time to reflect on the unbounded love of planet Earth that carries us all through life. Taurus is now at the center of attention.
Venus moves into the sign of Gemini on April 25th over the next few weeks. Those born under the sign of Gemini find joy socializing and dancing the night away. They may find that others are not listening to what they are saying or interpreting what they are saying in a way that is not clear. Remember Mercury is in retrograde motion and it rules both Gemini and Virgo.
The full Moon on April 28th is in the sign of Scorpio. It is at eight degrees and is full at 8:19PM EDT. Scorpio is passionate as the Moon opposes the Sun in Taurus its opposite sign. This full Moon signature also has a Taurus signature like the new Moon earlier this month. Both the new Moon and full Moon have four planets in the earth element. The quality of fixed signs is also prevalent with 50% of the signs in fixed quality for the full Moon.
What does all of that mean? The physical world of Taurus and Scorpio is moving slowly. The natural stubborn nature of both of these signs is on the increase. Both these signs will have to wait till the middle of May before they feel relaxed. For now they can breath more slowly and deeply to release tension. If anyone is trying to change the mind of those born under Taurus or Scorpio I wish you luck. It will be close to impossible.
Mercury in retrograde motion is exactly conjunct the Sun opposing the Moon on this full Moon. Financial planning not only for the individual but for those who have combined their investments. Joint finances is ruled by Scorpio. Married couples will have a few arguments over the last few days of April and the first couple of weeks in May. Be patient with each other. Both Mercury and the Sun are making a trine to Pluto as Pluto sextiles this full Moon.
This clearly shows a transformation (Pluto) in the financial lives of Taurus, Capricorn, Scorpio and Leo because Mars in Leo is squaring this full Moon.
The t-square coming form Mars squaring Mercury and the Sun and Mars squaring the Moon as the Moon opposes the Sun shows military action will become more prevalent. Most of April feels this way. An aggressive effort is on the way to capture Osama Bin Laden.
The affirmation for the second half of April is: NO MATTER WHAT. EVERYTHING WILL WORK ITSELF OUT. BALANCE IS A MUST.
