Whitney's Whirl: Forecast and Horscopes for May 30 - June 5, 2011

by Whitn McClough

New Moon Solar Eclipse offer. One question on how he Eclipse will effect your life for $25.00. Contact me at VisionsByWhitney@aol.com, or 603-205-2001.

This week brings in a New Moon Solar Eclipse on June 1st. It is a partial eclipse so not quite as powerful as the upcoming Lunar Eclipse. It would be greatly helpful if you knew where this eclipse is going to hit your chart. There are actually three eclipses this summer, The Solar Eclipse on June 1st, at 11 degrees of Gemini so, we will work with this energy now. Sometimes Eclipses are felt a good month before they arrive.

Eclipses often show themselves in the mythology of cultures in obliteration, fear, and the overthrow of the natural order of things. Eclipses were the great omens of fated, large-scale events. The word eclipse means "abandonment", and was viewed as the Sun abandoning the earth.

Every six months, eclipses show us the turning points in our lives. They indicate what we are supposed to accomplish for the next 3 years. If your birth planets are involved then you may find that your life takes a different pathway then you had anticipated.

If you know how to do this, and to figure out whether or not an eclipse will be positive or difficult, look to the aspects that eclipse makes to other planets in the sky, and also to the planets they are aspecting in your natal birth chart. If you don't have your natal birth chart, then contact Whitney, who wrote this, and ask how it will effect your life.

We have a very unusual pattern of three eclipses in a row this summer; a Solar Eclipse on June 1, a Lunar Eclipse on Jun 15 followed by another Solar Eclipse on July 1.

The June 1 partial Solar Eclipse is located at 11 degree of Gemini and is the second in a long series of Gemini eclipses that ends in May 2013. A partial solar eclipse occurs when the moon’s shadow passes very close to the earth, but this eclipse is not total. The sign of Gemini rules communication of all kinds, teaching, the media, and writing. We may see the death of a renowned writer or professor. There will be more news about who owns information as well.

The eclipse of the Sun has been traditionally viewed with dread over the ages, as the Sun seems to disappear from the sky. It gets dark in the middle of the day and it seems as if something dreadful is about to happen. Solar Eclipses tend to relate to sudden events that disrupt our day to day functioning; they are the crisis that seems to come out of nowhere and that suddenly demand all of our conscious attention and focus. They tend to stir things up on a physical and conscious level much more than Lunar Eclipses.

This eclipse is in a trine to Saturn which means this should be a positive eclipse with themes of Saturn. This can be a positive time for dealing with elders. We can start a project that requires discipline and patience and will improve our value and prestige for a long time to come especially if you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars) or the ascendant at 11 degrees of Gemini.

The Jun 15 Lunar Eclipse is at 24 Sagittarius/Gemini and it is said to be one of the darkest eclipses in history and will last 100 minutes. Gemini rules information and Sagittarius rules foreign countries, the law and higher education. This eclipse could bring in news about how we communicate with foreign countries and what laws we have to put in place to protect information.

Lunar Eclipses can bring up old memories and feelings. as a full Moon, Lunar Eclipse tends to bring completion or endings. On a Lunar Eclipse something will end and on a Solar Eclipse something will begin. A Lunar Eclipse is an opportunity to break habits or eliminate socially conditioned patterns of thought and behavior that stand in way of self realization.

The Lunar Eclipse gives us opportunities to break out of our current cycles and move on to a different level. A Lunar Eclipse can make us more aware of our cycles and patterns, and our unconscious motivations.

Full moon eclipses can bring things to completion that you have been working on. You can finally make decisions about issues that you have been thinking about. The Sun opposite the Moon, lights up the Moon and brings previously unexamined areas of your life into awareness. A Lunar Eclipse can be felt as early as 2 weeks prior to the Eclipse itself and can last up to 6 months to a year.

This Jun 15 eclipse can be more of a problem than the Jun 1 eclipse because it is in an opposition to Mercury. This can cause misunderstandings, disputes and problems in communications in general. Not good for long-range plans or ideas that require detailed working out. Lunar Eclipses are more emotional than Solar Eclipses. Because a Lunar Eclipse only happens on a full moon, two houses in your natal chart will be affected. Again, it would be highly beneficial for you to contact Whitney to find out how these Eclipses will effect you and your life.

** A new opportunity this month in the Whirl. Ask one question, $25, and pay through PayPal, and I will answer it. This will be especially great for the those people who want to know where and how the Eclipses will effect them.

The July 1 Partial Solar Eclipse takes place at 9 Cancer. This brings in the theme of home and family and is in a square to Saturn and opposite Pluto. You could be dealing with heavy responsibilities and maybe a coercive situation at home. You may notice the effect of this eclipse 1 month before it occurs. Make note of what comes in. It may be a surprise and may take 4 to 5 months to integrate the information.

If one of your personal planets is being "hit" by a Solar Eclipse, look back to see what happened 19 years ago. The eclipses repeat at the same degree of the zodiac every 19 years. A Solar Eclipse can bring an ending in the direction in our life and open a door to another. Remember, New Moon/Solar Eclipses are always very powerful times to meditate.

Send out your intention of what you want to manifest over the next six months. A Solar Eclipse always occurs during a New Moon and New Moons are important because they bring in new, fresh energy.

An eclipse tends to emphasize matters related to the house it falls in on your natal chart or what planets it conjuncts, or opposes. The areas ruled by the houses or planets will demand more attention, thought, energy, and time from you, at least until the next Eclipse. Eclipses open doors and invite us to come in, illuminating and stimulating areas of our lives that need our attention.

Look for the houses in your chart that contains 11 degrees of Gemini for the impact of the Solar Eclipse of June 1, look for the house containing 24 degrees of Gemini and Sagittarius for the impact of the Lunar Eclipse of Jun 15 and the house that contains 9 degrees of Cancer for the impact of the Solar Eclipse of Jul 1. A brief list of items covered by the different houses in your birth chart is under pages on this blog.

Look for a planet(s) in your natal chart located at 11 degrees of Gemini for the Solar Eclipse impact of Jun 1, a planet(s) at 24 degrees of Gemini and/or Sagittarius for the Lunar Eclipse impact of of Jun 15 and a planet(s) at 9 degrees of Cancer for the impact of the Solar Eclipse of July 1.
