Educational Programs - NYC/Tri-State

HU’s graduate programs address the subtle energies of the body, the transpersonal aspects of the mind, and the activity of the spirit. Professors apply blended distance learning with students through email and conference calls. Some courses require attendance during the annual September Campus Week at Unity Village in Missouri. Fall and Spring Semester Programs.

Students will experience one-on-one learning as they take a journey through time discovering feng shui as a nature-based science. Exploring the intricacies of unseen energy through compass readings, the power of land formations, and earth energy systems are defined and how they can be manipulated for empowered living. Certification requires completion of all courses, passing final examination, and two consultations (one residential and one business). Classes run primarily on weekends. Flex-scheduling is offered.

Healing Touch for Animals teaches individuals how to apply techniques to animals to support their health and well-being throughout their lives. Animals can recover from injuries, illness, abuse and trauma. Behavior can be modified. Pain can be relieved and a greater animal-human bond can be developed. All animal advocates are welcome to join us and all species of animals benefit.

200 Hour Viniyoga Wellness Instructor Training. This 200 hour Viniyoga Wellness Instructor Training is an opportunity to develop a deeper relationship to your own personal practice and inspire others through teaching the time-honored and authentic tradition of Viniyoga as transmitted by Gary Kraftsow. This training will be taught over the course of 11 weekends in 2013 and will be taught by Karen Lee of Breathing Time Yoga. Karen is an American Viniyoga Institute (AVI) teacher at the 500-hour level and an AVI Certified Yoga Therapist, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance as E-RYT-500.
