Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Deliberate Choice of the Soul

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia is the new diagnosis of the 21st century. Many people who are suffering with these misalignments are puzzled and equally disappointed with the traditional medical approach to their condition. People are looking for alternative solutions elsewhere in a desperate attempt to return to their normal lifestyle.

The condition seems to live its own life in the human body, at times it gets worse, until the day comes when you decide to see a holistic healer in an attempt to answer one of the most important questions that you have: “Why?” “What is happening with my body?” “Can I ever return to a normal life?”

The answer is yes, you can return to a normal life. Though, it depends on what you define as normal. To begin the process, you have to accept the fact that you are different, Do not compare yourself with everybody else, you won’t fit into a “one size fits all” category. You chose this life lesson for yourself before your soul entered your tiny body.

Forgive yourself for being sick; accept your faults and mistakes, for your heart only knows love and forgiveness. When your physical body experiences pain, your emotional body struggles as well, therefore it is important to relax and breathe. It also is very important to express your love and gratitude toward your physical body, to start talking to your body as if you were trying to console a child with your tender care and patience.

Reevaluate your priorities, which is the key in your battle for well being. Your first and only priority should be you. Your emotional body is very sensitive to the environment that you live in, it will constantly remind you to keep yourself stress free, positive and joyful. Those are your main medications, which should support your mind, body and spirit at all times. Use your sensitivity to your best advantage, by taking walks in nature, spending time in your garden and playing with your pets. Nature is very healing not only for your physical body, but also for your mind and spirit. Grounding in nature will release the anxiety and quiet your mind.

Just keep in mind, that you can’t do it alone. Use all the resources that are available for you. Something that you might consider is to join the group of like minded people to share and exchange the ideas of new treatment possibilities. You posses all the strength and power that you need, there is nothing you cannot do if you put your mind to it.

Keep a journal and express yourself without the fear of exposing your weaknesses.

While practicing your daily meditation, repeat to yourself: “I am grateful to myself. I love all that I am. My body is precious. I have total control over my body and mind.” Repeat this affirmation a few times a day. That shall change your focus. Do not own your diagnosis. It’s not yours, you are a living consciousness that witnesses your current reality. But you must slow down to speed up and change your vibration. For every misalignment that we experience has vibrational frequencies and movement to it.

One of my favorite sayings is: “in silence and stillness God’s energy becomes yours.” We can nullify slower and heavy vibration of pain by increasing the vibration of positive well being. Once you feel that you are falling back to a negative thought pattern, use the power of positive affirmations and manifestation. Think of an uplifting thought that makes your heart smile.

After all, there is a divine timing for all that there is, let it unfold naturally with grace and gratitude. Create a better life, create your best.
