July promises action for the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

Other signs influenced for July are Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer.

Starting on July 20th the energies of Leo build as Mars, Sun, new Moon move into Leo.

Venus moves into Gemini in July 4th giving those with Sun, Moon or rising i Gemini attractive energies. This is a time when you may overspend and regret it later as you will have some extra money from July 4th to July 31st. Be careful you don't spend so much money in July you have to count pennies in August. More romantic opportunities also manifest in July for Gemini.

Mercury the planet of communication moves into the sign of Leo on July 5th till July 25th. Those with Sun, Moon or rising in Leo are getting a good workout thismonth with Mercury starting off a wave of planets moving into the sign of Leo that rules love affairs, children, performing arts, speculation and gambling and an interest in politics.

Mercury in Leo speaks up loudly. Those with Leo energy in their charts need to look to the issues represented by the house or houses Leo rules. It is in these areas that the Lion will roar and let others know just how they feel. This is a time when those with Leo energies can be heard without much resistance.

The full Moon on July 9th fall in the sign of Capricorn at 17 degrees (12:07AM EDT). This full Moon packs a powerful punch for the cardinal signs mentioned at the start of this column page.

A t-square is created with this full Moon conjunct Pluto square to Jupiter in Libra and opposing Sun conjunct Mars in Cancer. Everyone knows that when you think about Pluto and Mars there must be transformation (Pluto) and aggression (Mars) involved. Jupiter at the center of the t-square offers some balance.

The cardinal signs are ready to take actions and they have plenty of energy to get things moving in their lives. Capricorn wants to change the way they feel about their work and partnerships. Cancer is just sick and tired of any domestic stress and wants peace and quiet at home. Libra feels ready to expand their circle of relationships and Aries feels left out of this t-square creating an air of independence. I can go it alone this time around.

The cardinal signs may experience a death in the family or maybe a close friend as Pluto combined with Mars conjunct both luminaries reminds us of the dark shadows the sign of Scorpio can walk through and the military energy of Aries since Mars rules Aries and Scorpio.

Jupiter in Libra also deals with the balance of international countries. This could be a month of military force being used around the time of the full Moon from July 4th to July 11th. Security should be high for any terrorist activities locally and internationally. Look for further tensions with N. Korea and Syria. The leader of both of these countries will be tested.

Uranus trine Saturn in this full Moon chart adds some steadiness to the t-square instability. Trines are the wind at our backs. The Sun trine to Neptune offers unconditional love in the signs of Cancer and Pisces. Pisces continues to try to make adjustments with a lack of physical energy.

Mars moves into the sign of Leo on July 20th giving those with Sun, Moon or rising in Leo extra physical energy. Mars remains in Leo till September 5th. So, party it up and enjoy the extra energy you have from July 20th till September 5th, 2017.

We have Mercury and Mars in Leo by July 20th and the Sun moves into Leo on July 22nd at 11:15AM EDT. The Sun is the natural ruling luminary of Leo. The Sun is at the center of attentions and is responsible for the gravitational pull to keep the other planets circling around its energies. Without the Sun the other planets would just float away.

Such is the energy of those born under the sign of Leo. They love attentions and being in the spotlight. They are the least shy out of all the zodiac signs unless other shyer signs dominate in the overall natal chart. Most Presidents have Leo energy to attract an audience.

 Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Donald Trump have the sign of Leo strong in their charts. Hillary R. Clinton lacked the Leo energy to stand up for herself in many ways which cost her two loses in both 2008 and 2016. She was sandwiched between two men born under the sign of Leo.

Leo rules the performing arts so their will be plenty of parties and concerts set up during this time. Those with Sun, Moon or rising in Leo will get the attentions they deserve to move ahead in life. But, don't become full of pride as those with Leo influences can be self centered. The new Moon is in, you guessed it, Leo at zero degrees on July 23rd at 5:46AM EDT. This new Moon is much more relaxed than the full Moon of July. This is the time when anyone with Leo energies wants to start off a new path of creative life.

They have reached a turning point. Sun, Moon and Mars in Leo are square to Uranus and this shows a time of sudden and unexpected changes (Uranus) and these changes will come very suddenly with force (Mars).

With the part of fortune in Cancer at 26 degrees involved with the other planets square to Uranus in Aries, a fortunate outcome is the result this new Moon for the signs of Leo, Aries and Cancer. The real estate market continues to have ups and downs but continues to show more gains than loses with this planetary combination on the new Moon.

Plenty of exercise is needed to balance out the over abundance of physical energy and tensions from July 23erd till August 7th. If your in a relationship that is not working or needs some fine tuning, its time too make a change or an explosive argument is on the way. Mostly for the sign of Leo.

It takes all of the Lions efforts that started when Mars entered Leo on July 20th and starts to move it in a specific direction. The tension is there for Leo. This is not a time when things will be peaceful or relaxed. This is a time to move your energies around and create new directions that add more to your life.
