Divine Wisdom from Michele Livingston

by Michele Livingston

Dear Michele,

My friend from work brought me in a "Wisdom" magazine. There was a question submitted to you about the importance of forgiveness. I was so impressed with your response that I thought I would take a chance and ask a question. I would like to know if a person can intercept death. I am responsible for my sister’s death in 2006 because I ignored a profound warning of what was to come. She was in my house and as she walked passed me, death walked right through me, following her into my kitchen! I felt a chill and it seemed to suck the air from me as it passed through. As I turned, I thought I saw a shadowy blur following her. I unfortunately dismissed it. As fate would have it I lost her suddenly from a thoracic aneurysm three weeks later. I would like to know if I could have stopped it? Can a person change the course of death like that? Do you think I will ever be forgiven for this? Donna M.

Thanks for your e-mail. I believe your story and you definitely are not responsible for your sister’s death. I’m told you are an empath, a "feeling" type of person and very intuitive. Each soul enters the body at birth to learn soul lessons. The soul chooses its parents, date of birth and time to exit the earth plane. You were not supposed to "save" your sister because her time was up …and you also were not informed on how she would pass! Her soul chose to make transition at that time. You were only to intuitively know that she would pass (probably to pray for her soul to make an easy transition, or possibly to grow closer and bond more with her while she was still alive.) Release the guilt! There was nothing that could have been done.

If it’s not a person’s time to cross over, then angels can intervene to save them. There are no accidents – everything is in divine time. Many talk of the "grim reaper" or the "angel of death" when actually angels that come for us are beautiful "light beings" who are assigned to fulfill that mission. For many, death has a dark connotation. Studies show that the "fear of death" is the number one fear (fear of public speaking being the next!). Death is only a "rebirthing" into the fourth dimension which is the ultimate realm of love and light. It’s like walking from one room to the next. The dark shadow you experienced was only a feeling of the fear of death, an energy that manifested through you. Please forgive yourself and release the guilty feeling. Your sister is in a far greater place than we are here on the earth plane. She had learned her soul lessons for this lifetime and chose to leave in a quick and effortless way.

Hello Michele,

I don’t know if you remember me. I met you at a seminar in Pennsylvania. From among many you did a reading for me and a friend of mine. You said I was to have a son. It was such a beautiful reading, I get emotional when I listen to the recording, thank you. While I was married, I was unable to conceive, and I couldn’t get my husband to see a fertility doctor. I got divorced in 2004. I’m now with a boyfriend who very much wants a son, and has gone with me for fertility treatments, but the problem is with me. I’m still waiting for this son, whom I’ve dreamt about. I sometimes wonder if I’m being punished for divorcing my husband or for living with my boyfriend. I’m turning 40 this year, and I wish your words of wisdom would come true for me. What are your thoughts?

Thank you,

Cielito E

Dear Cielito,

First, you are not being punished for divorcing your first husband. As time passes, couples either grow closer together or farther apart. Some decide to stay and seek counseling and some do not. You were truthful to yourself on your life’s journey by divorcing. You, Cielito, are here on earth to learn patience and be aware of faith. Faith is belief in the unseen, and hope to know good things will come to pass. You and your boyfriend are nicely matched and he cares for your welfare. Have patience because women are now having children into their mid to late ’40s.

Also, please remember the wonderful and precious babies that are orphaned and desperately need good homes. Know that if a couple can’t conceive, the soul that is choosing them for parents will take a surrogate route to get back to them. So do not rule out adoption! When I receive information about the future it’s about the possibilities or opportunities that may present themselves. Nothing is etched in stone! Stay in your prayer time and wait. I still feel you are to have the gift of a blessed son.

Hi Michele,

I’m just awakening to spirituality and am a curious seeker. I’ve read about meditation and all of the ways you can conduct it. In your opinion what is the best way?

Jeff W.

Hi Jeff,

There is really no right or wrong way to meditate in my opinion. Meditation means to "still the inner mind" and go within oneself. New insights should emerge, so keep a journal handy. Some individuals will feel energy and they are empathic (clairsentience). Some hear voices while they are meditating (clairaudience) and some see images or color (clairvoyance). Deep breathing or prana brings oxygen into the body and clears the mind. It’s good to start with at least 5 to 10 deep breathes, with your eyes closed. Because I’m a visionary I see images and start my meditation by walking down a road, looking at the beautiful scenery and ending up at a wooded alcove where there is a white gazebo. My lifetime guide, who is my counselor, meets me there. I ask questions, he answers them. After meditation I write down this guidance for referral. I also believe in protective prayers and always say one before I meditate. Try different forms and see what works best for you.
