Whitney's Whirl: Your Horoscope for July 13 - 19, 2009

The Sun and Mercury are tightly conjunct, in the sign of Cancer, as the week starts which brings the focus on communication, home and family. There are lots of upbeat and exciting aspects this week, so let's see what they are:
With the Sun and Mercury, both in a separating (departing) Biquintile to Jupiter, we will see our professional and/or business endeavors develop well. We will enjoy the progressive, outgoing, upbeat, creative and lively energy that this aspect brings. Take this energy and create something special, warm, and wonderful as the energy is easily harnessed and applied to our best interests. This energy won't always be wrapped around us, so take up your cause, and shine!
The Sun in Cancer also makes an applying (approaching) trine to Uranus which brings enhanced creativity and increased intuition. You may feel that you have more awareness of your purpose in life this week, and may I suggest that you spend some time in meditation this week to further enhance the insights that will register within for us, if we do so. Light a candle, call in an angel and ask for illumination. With Uranus, it could bring a brilliant spark of intuition; so be prepared.
The Sun in Cancer, Biquintiles Neptune which brings a bubbly comfort zone that we can step into with our family and friends. You can draw in, appreciate, and understand many different artistic concepts, or mystical ideas. You may see culture and history played out in peoples artistic endeavors, perhaps through their music, religious views, and/or their fantasies and imaginations as well . This aspect will help all of us be more creative, and seek out a creative outlet; let the creative waters flow this week.
The Sun also makes a Quincunx to both Jupiter and Neptune, so we will have to use caution in overdoing things, such as our emotions, our intake of alcohol or drugs, and being careful not to get lost in doubt and fear, and assuming the worst in people's opinions of us. We may feel that others don't appreciate us this week, and our emotional relationships may not go the way you would like them due to your feelings of inadequacy. If you feel that you don't measure up to someone in your life, don't believe it. We will all feel better once this aspect has passed.
We will easily showcase our creativity this week, as the trine between Uranus and the Sun showers us with sunbeams and yods of creativity. With a bit of work on our part, our efforts to bring forth our creations will do exactly what we wish for; show us our pathway, and bring in more financial opportunities as we co-exist with our future dreams.
Venus is Biseptile to Jupiter, which brings wisdom or mysticism to our weekly quest. Venus wants creativity, and love, and Jupiter wants to expand upon that idea. Venus in Gemini wants lots of creativity, many people or partners, lots of mental stimulation with Jupiter Biseptile aspect. Let's do it all this week!
Mars, the planer of war, is still making a tight little Quincunx to Pluto so be careful not to become ignited by anger this week. Don't bite, and don't snarl, just remember that a Quincunx means you have to make an adjustment to something, and it's not always comfortable either. With Mars representing anger, aggression, accidents, etc, and Pluto being everything from self-empowerment to vampires, viruses, and wizards, we will want to use caution in how we interact with people around us, and at large. Don't push this week, even if someone else does.
ARIES: The Sun and Mercury highlight your 4th house of home and family, and trines Uranus in your 12th house. Something from the past could bring you some rewards now, or something which you have been developing could sparkle with originality, and open fresh doors of opportunity. The Quincunx between Mars and Pluto falls in your 10th and 3rd houses, so watch carefully not to get into verbal altercations. Pluto wants empowerment, and Mars wants war, you pick the outcome. TAURUS: The Sun and Mercury highlight your 3rd house of communications, and with both planets sextile Saturn in your 5th house, you should enjoy intimate conversations, and the warmth and love of someone who is equally impressed with you. The Quincunx falls in your 9th house of legalities, and the 2nd house of income, so if things aren't going well financially this is when you need to make the adjustment.
GEMINI: The Sun and Mercury highlight your 2nd house, sextle Saturn in your 4th house, which brings family members into the mulch of finances. Let them help as much as they will, and watch that the Quincunx from Pluto in your 8th house of loans, or debts, does not cause you to ignite the flames of contention. Some good news about career pops up under the delightful trine from the Sun and Mercury to your 10th house of career opportunities. This should bring you the job you have been awaiting.
CANCER: The Sun and Mercury highlight your 1st house of self expression, so you will be the center of attention this week, and others will certainly feel your presence, and hear your ideas too. You could be making plans to take a trip both locally and internationally, and enjoying every moment of it. The Quincunx highlights your 7th house of partners, and the past. Leave the past behind you, and follow your heart, as someone else is ready to enter your life now.
LEO: The Sun and Mercury highlight your 12 house of what is simmering in your subconscious, and can also be our connection to visions, romance,and emancipation. This would be a great week to vacation, and live on your expansive dreams, and allow things to build, but the power struggle of the Quincunx of Pluto (self empowerment) in your 6th house of work, to Mars and Venus in your 11th house of popularity and fun, says you may pass by fun, and go to work. Try to fit some joy in this week, and play.
VIRGO: The Sun and Mercury (your ruling planet), highlight your 11th house of friends, and popularity, bringing with it a busy time in your social life. The trine from Uranus in your 7th house of partners, could show you which of those unusual friends could be more than that. The Quincunx from Pluto in your 5th house of love and play, to your 10th house of career, says you need to make an adjustment to learning to play.

I see some aggravation from friends, and possibly your home environment this week, so don't stir up a hornet's nest if you find one.
