Astrological Forecast for August 2009

It was a hot August night says Neil Diamond and he may be correct this month for the signs of Cancer, Virgo, Aquarius, Libra and Leo.

Venus has just moved into the sign of Cancer making the crab more attractive and sensual. Those born under the sign of Cancer are feeling more romantic till July 26^th. If you are born under the sign of Cancer your taste buds are going to be heightened. This means your appetite will increase and those born under the sign of Cancer tend to hang onto weight. Be careful.

The full Moon Lunar Eclipse on August 5^th is in the sign of Aquarius at 13 degrees. This eclipse is at its peak around 08:55PM EDT. Aquarius enjoys the group high while Leo wants independence.

Those born under the sign of Aquarius are in a reforming spirit. The planet that rules Aquarius is Uranus. The classical ruler is Saturn. We have both Saturn and Uranus forming an opposition on this full Moon Lunar Eclipse. This shows a struggle between new ideas that are forward thinking and old ideas that don’t work anymore.

Individuals who are born under the sign of Aquarius are trying to find new ways of approaching life. New innovative ways that allow them to be their own special person. Sarah Palin has both of her luminaries in Aquarius and she is giving up on the old ways and I have a feeling she will try to reform the old ways of doing things by becoming an independent political runner in the coming months and years.

I can clearly see the federal government having a difficult time advancing any new healthcare system. Saturn is in Virgo and Virgo rules healthcare in a opposition to Uranus which is not comfortable with the same old thing.

Venus in Cancer is forming an opposition to Pluto in Capricorn showing that the American public (Cancer) is not happy with what the government (Capricorn) is offering in regards to healthcare.

This energy runs six months so look towards a lot of talk on healthcare and a result around February of 2010. The result will be much different than what President Obama is thinking at the present time. The transiting North Node just moved into Capricorn at the same time of the Lunar Eclipse which will bring in new ideas that will benefit America.

The Gemini signature of this full Moon Lunar Eclipse creates a lot of talk from the political pundits and the news media.

The affirmation for the first half of this month is: MAY HUMANITY UNITE AND ALLOW A NEW APROACH TO DAWN CREATING PERFECT HEALTH.

Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are in retrograde motion showing that the collective group energy of the world is deeply thinking about the bigger picture of life. Between the full Moon Lunar Eclipse and the transcendental planets all in retrograde motion, we have a combust of energy ready to implode on itself.

I think August is going to be a busy news month for erratic weather patterns and violence could erupt internationally or even in America.

The new Moon is on August 20^th in Leo at 27 degrees. It starts at 8:01AM EDT. This new Moon is not a Solar Eclipse which is a nice break considering the we have had a total of three eclipses over the last six weeks.

If you’re born under the sign of Leo and working on new projects, they could manifest over the next six months. The grand cross between three mutable signs and one cardinal shows you have the flexibility the Lion needs to get things done and transform your life for the better. Leo’s are very focused and reach a final outcome by February of 2010 on any projects they are currently working on.

The Sun enters Virgo on August 22 at 7:38PM EDT. Virgo is about getting organized for the next school year. You hear me. That means planning to buy school books and pens and thinking of ending the summer time parties. Bummer.

With Venus moving into Leo on August 26^th it will take till the end of September before those born under the sign of Leo to relax into the new school schedule.

Mars moves into Cancer on August 25^th giving needed energy to those born under the sign of Cancer for the next two months. However, Mars is in its fall in Cancer and it would be wise for those born under the sign of the crab to move carefully as Mars creates physical accidents. Supplementation of minerals may be an important benefit for those born under the sign of Cancer to strengthen the immune system and offset the weakening influence of Mars on the physical body.

Mercury enters Libra on August 25^th and those born under the sign of Libra are communicating much better over the next few weeks. Relationships are better because the communication lines are more open.

The affirmation for the second half of this month: I AM CONFIDENT THAT THE WORK I AM DOING NOW WILL BRING SUCCESS IN THE FUTURE.

Also, Michael Jackson’s birthday in on August 29^th. Look for large groups to gather for a special vigil regarding his accomplishments. These large gatherings are adding additional love energy to offset a very tense month of August and ending the month with love and unity.
