Divine Wisdom From Michele Livingston

by Michele Livingston

Dear Michele,

We met through my mother and I have followed your every word when it comes to your visions. You were exact on my daughter when you told me what colors to surround her with, to bring her peace and to calm her emotions. You also encouraged her gifts of flying (astral projection) at night to be in heaven with my grandparents and others who have passed. Recently, a dear 15-year-old boy, a friend that felt like family, took his own life and my daughter has some apprehensions as to "seeing" him in heaven. I have always, always encouraged her to talk and chat about her dreams and her excursions to heaven, as I am sure the happiness she awakes with is equal to what she takes to them. This time however, she knew this boy, played and spent time with him, whereas, the other souls were the folks she never knew on earth like her grandparents. I don’t know how to encourage or support her this time. Her friend hung himself ... for the most part, she knows what is appropriate to disclose about the situation. Any advice you can give me, so she does not lose her gift to share between the love of both worlds, would be greatly appreciated! With sincere thanks,

Kelly D.

Dear Kelly,

Thank you for your question.Your daughter is truly gifted, because she has retained the ability to "see" the other side as small children do in the formative years (1 to 5). We all leave our bodies at least a couple nights a week during sleep. Our souls can astral travel to other dimensions of light and energy. Most of us forget our nightly excursions, but your daughter seems to be able to retain the information and relay it to you.

The act of suicide devastates families and friends, and the wake of the loss afterwards is indescribable. There has been a lot of controversy and many different opinions regarding suicide. I have read spiritual books on the subject and have received information directly from my angels. The bottom line is that there is no running away from self. We all need to evaluate and address our life after death, to see if we have soul progressed. In a case of intentional and premeditated suicide of a healthy person, the timeline we have set for ourselves is cut short, and the soul agreement we made with God and other souls has not been completed. Before we are born, we choose the soul lessons we want to learn (which is entered into our record of life). Often suicides have not fulfilled their agreement, but have chosen suicide as a way out. They sometimes see their path as too difficult to endure. In other words, if the soul makes an agreement before birth to pass away of natural causes at 80, but commits suicide at 20, there are 60 years of experiences and soul lessons lost for growth and development in this lifetime. Though the soul is never condemned by the Creator, many of the lessons and soul growth agreed to for this lifetime are not realized and must be repeated in a subsequent incarnation–much like dropping a course in school and having to make it up the following semester or year. God welcomes all souls, and there is no harsh judgment, we judge ourselves through our "life review."

The tragic September 11th event nearly a decade ago, with the destruction of the World Trade Towers is a slightly different scenario. When people jumped from windows out of panic and fear to avoid death by fire, they were not committing a premeditated act. Also, for example, one may intentionally step in front of another and take a bullet to save a life in a war situation. This is considered an heroic deed. What I am addressing is the premeditated intention or motivation behind the suicide that places it into a slightly different category. The person who tries to consciously run away from life and the soul lessons they have chosen by taking their own life commits a somewhat selfish act, not only for their own soul growth but also for others with whom they have made soul agreements. This is especially true for those who are left behind, still suffering from the loss. Some may take their lives when depressed, or when under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and their energy is scattered when they arrive on the other side. There is no escape from self, from life or our chosen soul lessons; and in the "life review" the one who committed suicide sees the grief that has been inflicted on family and friends. Many go through a form of rehabilitation, to understand that suicide is not the best option. In all the years of doing my spiritual readings, I have never had a soul who intentionally crossed themselves over come through and say they were happy they did it.

But there are angels and guides on the other side to help those who have taken their lives to adjust and move on. It may take several years (in earthly time) for them to acknowledge the act, forgive themselves and heal, but all eventually do.

Suicide is merely a choice, and we were all blessed with the gift of free will. God loves all and accepts all souls with open arms, so to speak. So your daughter’s friend is in the light and love of heaven, and through the life review will be able to objectively review his short life span on earth and move on to his soul lessons. Lastly, it is so very important to pray for those who have "crossed themselves over," for it will bring them much needed peace. Tell your daughter that it is all right to visit her friend in heaven and bring back information for you, and even his family, if they are open to receiving it.

God bless,

Michele
