Summer is officially over. The week is chock full of sudden change and surprise. The Sun moves into Libra, it’s the Fall Equinox, Jupiter and Uranus trine in Leo/Aries on Thursday, Pluto turns direct on Friday, and Mercury moves into Scorpio on Sunday, the 28^th, conjuncting the moon.

The Fall Equinox arrives on Monday the 22nd and because this is just before the new moon, the energy for the next three months has a “completions” tone to it. The Libra moon is when you gather all the wisdom and release that which is not of wisdom, kind of a separating the wheat from the chaff. It is also the time where you begin to plant the seeds for the incoming energy. Transforming Pluto is stopped in the sky now, ending his retrograde cycle that has been going on since mid-April. This adds to the “endings and new beginnings” energy. It may feel like a raw wound, so just let it be until Pluto picks up speed in the next couple weeks. Relationship planet Venus’ influence enables you to view the world through a different lens, on the edge of establishment and the status quo. At this time you are motivated to live under a different, nonconformist, type of energy-but can accomplish that in a graceful way. The fire element is strong too (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), so there will be plenty of fun and adventure to mix with the practical transformation coming in the months ahead.

The New Moon follows on the heels of Fall Equinox on Tuesday, September 23rd. The fun part of this “re-balancing” moon is that optimistic Jupiter is making a harmonious trine to exciting Uranus. Where the Libra moon wants relationship, Jupiter and Uranus just want to have an adventurous party and meet new friends. Balancing personal sharing with less personal friendships is the project under this energy. Play the lottery on Thursday, the 25^th, as the Jupiter/Uranus trine could bring in a large win.

Know that communications planet Mercury is now in its storm, beginning Friday, of the upcoming retrograde cycle on October 4th. Tend to communications, double check scheduling details, and maintain vehicle and/or communications equipment. Aggressive Mars is challenging dreamy Neptune now, you will need to see things for what they are, not just what you want them to be.

Pluto turns direct on Friday and is now back in the game. You may feel a crisis as you go through a transformation, in your social lives, political movements, and the economy. Keep a watch on world events as well
