The signs that were most stressed for 2016 were the mutable signs of Pisces,Sagittarius, Virgo and Gemini. Gemini became the balancing point for the other 3 signs. Pisces, Sagittarius and Virgo experienced stress and strain with added responsibilities in all areas of life. They were trying to balance a lot of karma.

The signs most influenced January of 2017 are, Pisces, Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Aquarius and Leo.

Pisces was experiencing loss in the material world to make room for higher energies to be integrated into their nervous system. If Pisces did not lose their center in 2016, they are ready for wonderful growth and prosperity in 2017. If they failed to maintain balance through addictive behaviors, they are ready to find a more meaningful life this year and let go of a victimized state of consciousness they acquired in 2016.

We start off 2017 with Mercury in deep retrogration in the sign of Capricorn at 2 degrees. If you have Sun/Moon or Ascendant in Capricorn, you may be in deep

thoughts about 2017 and in the middle of plans that will be set into motion when Mercury stations direct on January 8, 2017.

When Mercury stations direct on January 8th, ALL PLANETS ARE IN DIRECT MOTION. I am talking about the classical and modern planets, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This I call a blessing of grace for ALL zodiac signs. This is the time to move forward with plans to fulfill any desires you have in your professional and personal life.

Venus moving into Pisces on January 3rd gives Pisces the romantic edge to start off 2017 with both Venus and Mars in Pisces. Neptune has been in Pisces since February of 2012. Chiron also remains in Pisces in 2017 though the beginning of 2019. Pisces must move forward and heal old wounds (Chiron) and that's what they have been working on since March of 2011 when Chiron entered Pisces. If your a Pisces and ready to fall in love again, January of 2017 is a perfect month for romance.

We have a full Moon in Cancer at 22 degrees on January 12th, 2017 at 6:33AM EST. We have a cardinal square in this Full Moon chart with no Earth element to ground it. This is lot's of energy to move forward for the signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn with little patience. These signs will need patience and follow through if they want less stress and strain in their lives till the new Moon starts on January 27th.

Cardinal signs want to set things in motion and are known to be the initiators of action of all the signs as they rule all of the angles of the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses. Planets that transit or are in progression crossing over an angles have the most influence in timing of events for clients. This full Moon grand cross in cardinal signs is trying to balance domestic life (Cancer) with professional life (Capricorn).

The reason why the signs of Cancer and Capricorn are most influenced than Libra or Aries, is a conjunction between Pluto and the Sun in Capricorn opposing this full Moon in Cancer.

Capricorn and Cancer are going through transformations within their personal and professional life they cannot ignore anymore. Either they make the necessary changes and let go of anything that is causing stress and strain to maintain their present job or relationship, or they may leave their present job or relationship. This is a time of opportunity to change what is not working and move into a new energy that is more productive.

The concern about terrorism will be one of the front and center topics till the end of March 2017 as a result from Uranus moving into a 3 degree square that started to gain momentum in the middle of December 2016. At the time of this writing, Dec 21st, 2016, we have already seen multiple terrorist attacks in Germany, Turkey and other countries, as well as a massive fireworks explosion. This type of explosive energy is very active from December 29, 2016 till the end of March 2017.

It is the Pluto conjunct Sun in Capricorn in this full Moon chart involved in a grand cross without any Earth element that requires caution from January 12th to January 27th, 2017.

We have the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20, 2017. With all the tight security surrounding this inauguration day, I pray that we can all move forward in a non-violent and respectful way. Remember, we have ALL planets in forward motion and this is positive for Donald Trump. Donald has entered a Jupiter Dasha in his Vedic chart which lasts 16 years so he has protections from Jupiter which gives success to his Presidency. He will have to deal with strong oppositions for the first 9 months in office, most Presidents do, because of his transiting Saturn in opposition to his natal Sun. He will go after terrorism strongly with the support of the international community of countries that have been recently attacked.

Donald carries the aura of prosperity and progress. Wall Street is already showing better numbers. Will he be able to keep it going? Jupiter on his side will certainly create expansion and growth. Capitalism at its best. The real question for astrologers and readers of this article is, what will happen to the economy when Uranus enters the money sign of Taurus in the spring of 2018?

Surprises for Donald Trump and the international banking families is around the corner and it could be a new integration of economic policies much different from what we have now more in line with what Bernie Sanders wanted. And, it could also be introduced from UFO contact which will run high from spring of 2008 to 2026. Working in small family groups in a more cooperative system of economics is a part of the new system from other more evolved cultures than ours. 

Mars moves into Aries on January 28th, a day after the new Moon in Aquarius onthe 27th at 8 degrees 7:06PM EST. Aquarius is independent and wants to be original and do things differently. The inauguration chart in Washington D.C. for Donald Trump on January 20th, has the the Sun at zero degrees of Aquarius conjunct the MC or vocational 10th house cusp line. With Saturn trine to Uranus, Saturn is the classical ruler of Aquarius and Uranus is the modern ruler, we have a change of the guard.

We have both sides of Aquarius active. The conservative side (Saturn) and the rebellious side (Uranus). Protesting will be active for and against the new political leader and administration but life goes on with all planets in forward motion.

Those with Sun/Moon or ascendant in Aquarius, and Mars moving into Aries the day before the new Moon, shows a very active approach to civil protesters not only on a political scale but on a personal level for those born under the signs of Aquarius, Leo, Aries and Sagittarius as Saturn in this new Moon chart trines both part of fortune in Leo and Uranus in Aries.

These 4 signs have the wind at their backs from the trines as Saturn is the classical ruler of Aquarius. Changes for the better in the lives of Aquarius, Leo, Aries and Sagittarius offers a more peaceful domestic life, and the need to continue arguments in relationships takes a turn for the better.

Both the Sun and Moon in Aquarius in this new Moon chart are not aspecting (unaspected) other major planets. So, they do feel left out. Alone in their identification with their needs. Who will listen to them? Who can help them at this point? They need to find their own way till the middle of February.
