Astrological Forecast for May 2018

May will not let us down when it comes to warmer weather needed in many areas of America. Here in New England we have continued a cold spell in April which does not help us leave the feeling of hibernation from the winter season. May will allow the birds to chirp and the flowers to bloom. We deserve a spring season. The coldest April on record in the last 75 years.
Mercury moves into Taurus changing the energy from Aries to Taurus. This happens on May 13th. The first 13 days of May are still lingering on for the sign of Aries.
Mercury in Taurus sets up the new Moon in Taurus on May 15th at 7:48AM (EDT)
. The new Moon is at 24 degrees. If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Taurus, you are getting ready for a new life. Why? Uranus moves into Taurus for a new 7 year cycle only a few hours after this new Moon.
Even if you have other planets in Taurus, look to see which houses they are in and how those planets are relating to the rest of the chart. These are the areas that will change in your life.
Uranus moves into Taurus on May 15, 2018 for a new 7 year cycle. Uranus is in it's fall in Taurus. Why? They don't get along. Uranus wants freedom and sudden changes. Taurus wants things to stay the same. Uranus likes to stir things up and Taurus wants to relax and not make any waves in the ocean of life.
Taurus is affiliated with the Earth. Could this be the time that Uranus raises the Earth's vibrations in order to receive a higher purpose? After all Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury and technologies like UFO's. Could this be the period that we finally have serious discussion about UFO's and their connections to our Earth from the past and the present?
Uranus shatters old worn out beliefs and creates new innovative ideas. How about solar energy panels that can be attached to existing glass buildings in the cities to create free energy from the Sun. How about new ways of doing business around the world like Bitcoin which is independent from the traditional banking system.
How about new ways of relating to our bodies like holistic healthcare practices becoming so popular that the traditional policies may start to embrace other methods of healthcare and include them in our insurance policies. Taurus is the sign that is affiliated with our physical bodies and the body of the Earth.
This all starts on May 15th, 2018. Then, Uranus will retrograde back into Aries from November 2018 to March of 2019. Then it will remain in Taurus till 2027.
Earth changes are going to happen from the inside out. Expect weather patterns to be unstable as we have seen already. I've said over the last 20 years that those living on islands in the ocean waters of the world should seek mainland as their home. This includes the Hawaii islands.
As the Earth shifts it will push cities of ancient civilizations up such as the city of gold that was a central part of Lemuria. What is left of Lemuria is the Hawaiian islands. Atlantis, which was one of the daughter continents of Lemuria, could also rise to the surface. So, two things will shift the historical attentions of humanity.- UFO's and ancient civilizations from thousands of years ago appearing from the deep ocean floors.
The financial markets will go up and down. Large swings when Uranus is in hard aspects to other planets. The stock market already has shown huge swings we did not have in 2017. This is Uranus at the later degrees of Aries getting ready to enter Taurus. We are at a turning point in how we value ourselves and how that value of self fits into how we exchange currencies around the world.
Uranus wants financial equality for all. So, those who have so much and don't give to those who have so little, if anything at all, will be in trouble from inner health issues, earthquakes or whatever it takes to shake up the gap between the rich, middle class and the poor.
Uranus rules the younger generation and we will see more and more groups and organizations forming to voice feelings of equality and Independence in many areas of life.
The electric grid is ruled by Uranus. Without electricity everything in the modern world could shut down. Solar flares are a part of this disruption and could cause humans to panic if they suddenly could not withdraw money at a local ATM machine.
The future is always in motion so I am not saying this is going to happen for sure but the energy of the Sun is underestimated by humans who curse the Sun as an evil because of UVB radiation that causes cancer. Well, at least the AMA projects this to the public in America. Did you know that the cultures that spend several hours in the Sun a day have the least amount of cancer? Hmmm.
If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Taurus hang on because your life will no longer be the same slow and steady as she goes kind of life. You will make changes in all areas of life that you never thought you could . And so it is.......
Mars moves into Aquarius on May 16th and adds more physical vitality to those with Sun, Moon or rising in Aquarius. This placement helps to motivate those with Aquarius energies to accomplish a lot in the life till Mars stations retrograde on June 26th and moves back into Capricorn on August 13th.
Then Mars stations direct on August 27th and enters Aquarius again on September 12th, 2018 and enters Pisces on November 16th.
This prolonged stay in Aquarius gives those with planets in Aquarius lots of staying power from May till November of 2018 minus a few weeks in Capricorn. The midterm elections will have Mars at the latter degrees of Aquarius echoing the energies of independence and freedoms from the conservative ways of looking at things. Voters realize more than ever how their vote influences the areas of life that are most important to them.
I have expressed a few months ago that Nancy Pelosi will retire and step down from the Democratic Party as Uranus makes an exact conjunction with her natal Saturn in Taurus at zero degrees from May 15th to then end of 2018.
The sooner the better as the Democratic Party needs changes. Uranus is the planet that can create those changes. It can create health issues in the body if one has not been taking care of themselves with holistic healtcare.
Venus enters Cancer on May 19th till June 13th. Cancer is the sign of the mother and family. They want to nurture the world. Those with Sun, Moon or rising in Cancer feel joy when they give to others. This placement also makes them more attractive and if you are single you may find a new partner at this time.
Real Estate values will rise during this Venus transit. If you are a real estate agent you will be busy showing homes and doing some closings in the first half of June.
Sun enters Gemini on May 20th. Happy Birthday to the sign of Gemini.
The full Moon on May 29th is at 8 degrees of Sagittarius. 10:20AM EDT. Then Mercury, the natural ruler of Gemini, enters Gemini at 7:49PM EDT. Sagittarius is the opposite sign of Gemini. Early years of education meets with higher education. Students are ready to graduate in June or looking forward to a summer vacation by the end of June.
Knowledge of all kinds is in motion. Teachers are in the teaching mood until Mercury moves into Cancer on June 12th. Knowledge is a great purifier for the human mind, body and soul.
Sagittarius may start a new course that allows them more skills to compete in the market place. A higher purpose is ready for fulfillment as the full Moon is about completions. Sagittarius and Gemini's may be at a point in their work where they need to complete something they have been working on since the beginning of this year. Students are ready to complete exams at this time.
