Double Whammy: This is a volatile time with Mercury retrograde, eclipses, and powerful planets squaring and opposing each other. Self-doubt, misunderstandings, and hurt feelings occur easily. Here’s a helpful exercise to center yourself if need be… it will get you back to your own creative self:

Make two lists: one of all your good traits including a couple from when you were little; and one of everything you’ve done for others recently. Read them over, and then ask a question like this to your inner self: What’s something good I can do for my life right now?

Personal Guidance for the Fire, Water, Air and Earth Signs – Read your Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs

Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Fire Signs: In order to know which of your ideas, your projects, your desires are yielding, put out as many feelers in as many directions as you have interests. It’s a little hard for you to get results or see where things are going right now, but trying to do and acting on what you would like, is the best way forward. Something you are lacking, or a state of consciousness you are striving to get to, is driving your desires now. It looks like the world would provide what you asked of it. September there’s a lot more happening that you’ve set in motion and a lot more clarity about your direction.

Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Water Signs: Believe the signs you get of change…they may be very precipitous, where all of a sudden things are different than you have been expecting. Take necessary action. You’re getting stronger and have clearer ideas about what is really empowering. You’re getting more flexible with greater endurance. You feel blessed with new strength and an identity that draws in more of what you want.

Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Air Signs: You get confirmation that what makes you happy is in motion. This is kind of a “yess-y” time, and November proves that. It can be overwhelming, how much there is to do!! There’s a lot you want to set up for your future. Find your friends, find your allies; search and connect.

Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Earth Signs: Something can change with your location or cause an inconvenience. Something may change that’s been stabilizing you, and you have to act on it. Turn to your networks if you need help. Surprising solutions can also appear… reach out! For you at this time no matter what changes, the world is a beneficent place. Take one step at a time, keep on going; don’t look farther than how you have been successful in this particular day.

United States: The country has a barren and isolated feel to it. Even more hate comes out in September. People shouldn’t be surprised at its intensity: everything related to power and its abuse is coming up and out. The Supreme Court swings to the right: Saturn and Moon conjunct in Capricorn is restrictive, the planetary scene when Judge Kennedy stepped and made way for someone else.

The generations being born 12-18 years from now are the ones who will make a profound difference. They bring truly new paradigms into the world. We still are lacking enough separation in time and generations to be effective against this long-planned coup against American democracy. (Although there’s an amazing sounding 13 year old running for Governor of Vermont right now!)

The World: Something just gets wiped out… a place gets wiped out, something is leveled… this image came up before, in a flat desert environment like Syria.) Hawaii: In a Spring blog post, another big Summer event was the image of the Hawaii volcano producing a lake of lava , not streams of it, and more volcanic activity in August.
