Astrological Forecast for July 2019

July is a very active astrological month. We have Solar and Lunar eclipses, Mercury retrograde and several planets in dignity (In their own signs) making July a very strong month for the signs of Cancer, Leo, Capricorn. Aquarius, Libra and Aries.
We start off July with a bang as Mars moves into the dramatic sign of Leo. The performing arts gets a boost this 4th of July 2019.
If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Leo or other planets, they are getting energized by the physical dynamic energies of Mars. Leo is known to be a sign that has physical energy and loves being the center of attentions. Leo’s will have a very good July. They can get things done. They love a party and this month is a huge celebration till Mars moves into the sign of Virgo on August 18th.
On July 2, a total solar eclipse will take place, plunging parts of South America into darkness as the moon passes directly in front of the Sun, blocking out its light.
Total solar eclipses take place around once every 18 months. This total solar eclipse is in the sign of Cancer at 10 degrees at 3:16PM EDT. New Moon’s represent new beginnings.
If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Cancer, you are ready to start a new journey for your family and your country. Cancer is the ruling sign of America’s birthday on July 4th. Happy Independence Day. Will this be a good solar year for America?
Remember, that eclipses can create energies that last up to six months till the next new Moon solar eclipse. Cancer is the sign that is sensitive to the needs of others especially children and family. We have seen issues concerning the care of children at the border recently and overall the American public wants to protect children at all costs. Also, the care we have for mothers and the elderly are in focus from this new Moon solar eclipse.
The new Moon chart shows tensions for the sign of Cancer, but the outcome is positive. There will be a back and forth kind of energy in the family life for those of you with planets or rising in Cancer. The Moon is the natural ruling planet of the sign of Cancer.
The squares coming from Uranus in Taurus opposing Scorpio rising both square to Mercury in its fall in Leo and Mars in Leo, shows tensions especially with the leaders in the world and financial institutions. The sign of Leo needs to watch out for saying things to others that could come back to hurt them afterwards.
Wall street is waiting for a deal with China and the outcome may seem not so good at first on July 2nd but by July 4th, America could be celebrating a deal. Why? Even thou there is tensions in international affairs with Jupiter square to Neptune, creating foggy perception, half of the planets are in their dignity.
Jupiter in Sagittarius, Saturn in Capricorn, Neptune in Pisces and this new Moon total solar eclipse in Cancer. Add in the part of fortune conjunct the rising sign of Scorpio and this new Moon solar eclipse conjunct America’s Sun, Jupiter and Venus, all adds up to good luck offsetting the less than positive energies coming from Uranus in its fall in Taurus and Mercury in its fall in Leo caught up in a T-square.
As stated above, this total new Moon solar eclipse casts some darkness on parts of South America. It is most likely that our government will make some serious choices regarding immigration policies at the start of this new Moon.
The North Node is also in Cancer at 17 degrees which adds compassion to relationships. The sign of Cancer wants more attentions at home and Capricorn’s need to pay attentions to that calling.
Transformations are obvious in the lives of those with Cancer and Capricorn energies as well as Scorpio since Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn oppose the North Node in Cancer.
Mercury turns retrograde on July 7th at 4 degrees of Leo slowing the Lion down bit to think things over till Mercury retrogrades into Cancer on July 19th. If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Leo you may be thinking about important matters in business and your personal life a lot and drawing some conclusions on the 19th but maybe better to act on those conclusions once Mercury moves back into Leo in direct motion on August 12th.
As Mercury travels retrograde through the sign of Cancer from July 19th till August 12th, the sign of Cancer continues to weigh and measure what is going on with family life and professional goals. Cancer is a sign that can get stuck in its emotional body so it’s very important to breath deeply when stressed, drink plenty of water and get some exercise. Walking daily can help to balance out emotional depressions. Getting out in the Sun with your face to the Sun 10 minutes a day can be very helpful in washing away the blues.
Mercury stations direct on the July 31st at 23 degrees of Cancer. The crab slowly craws out of the shadow of this Mercury retrograde by August 15th.
The partial full Moon lunar eclipse is on July 16th at 5:38PM EDT in the sign of Capricorn at 24 degrees. Cancer and Capricorn are opposite signs representing very different views on life.
Cancer loves family and depending on others. The home life. Capricorn represents standing on your own feet and the outer world of vocational progress and a hard-working ethic.
Both the solar and lunar eclipses are triggering this theme for the signs of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra. Where is the balance between home life and the outer work life? If you have planets or angels of your natal chart rule by these signs this will be a major theme in your lives over the next 6 months.
Full Moon’s represent completions. Over the next six months the cardinal signs, just mentioned, will have to wrap up any unbalanced areas of their lives so that tensions do not build up at work or at home.
This full Moon chart clearly shows lots of oppositions from Saturn, South Node, Pluto and Moon in Capricorn opposing Mars, Mercury in retrograde, Sun, North Node and Venus in Cancer.
The values of marriage, family life, children verse the status you have at work in the outer world. Tensions must be resolved, or marriages and family life could fall apart. What do you really value? Is all of what you gain at work worth the risk of losing your loved ones regardless if you are a man or woman? These are the pressing questions from this full Moon.
It is vital that America has balance established at the very beginning of July so the back and forth energy we have seen over the last few years from our government body does not become staler and more poisonous to our people. We need to find a compromise in all areas or too much finger pointing can backfire on either side.
Jupiter conjunct the rising sign of Sagittarius, in this full Moon lunar eclipse chart, is very good for international affairs. I think July is a good month when leaders of the free world can use the negotiation table with America to find a positive outcome. But much work needs to be done before July 7th.
Earthquakes are popping up again as well as flooding, fires and tornadoes. This will continue as Uranus in Taurus infuses higher vibrational frequencies into planet Earth. Volcanoes in the pacific ring of fire could become active as well over the next 7 years.
The Sun moves into the sign of Leo on July 22nd at 10:50PM EDT. Happy Birthday to all of you born under the sign of Leo.
Venus moves into Leo on July 27th giving those born under this sign the attentions they love with an increase in abundance and romance. The performing arts is given more attentions from July 27th till August 21st. A great time to get out to that favorite summer concert or take a nice vacation and pamper yourself.
Mercury turns direct at 23 degrees of Cancer on the last day of July. August will start off with Mercury in direct motion.
