Whitney's Whirl - Your Horoscope for March 16-22, 2009

This intriguing week brings us the Spring Equinox on Friday, March 20, at 7:55 p.m., here in Kittery, Maine. As we look forward to shaking off the winter wearies, and forging ahead with important pioneering activities, we find the pace of our lives somewhat increasing.
But, before that date, we have Mars entering the water sign of Pisces, along with Mercury, Uranus and the Sun still at 29 degrees of Pisces. For those of you who use the creative webbing of writing, art, music, and/or dance, this is a highly illuminated week, brimming with inspiration, talent, and vision. Anything you create could stand out; however, we may create somewhat more conservatively under the Venus retrograde! Pull out those paint brushes, turn on your favorite music, and put your heart into something that sets your soul afire!
With Venus retrograde until April 17th, you might find someone from your past making a return. Is this good? Well, you probably won't know that for sure until after it goes direct, however, it you keep your heart open, and communications flowing, it will at very least be interesting. When it retrogrades back into Pisces on April 11, it may wash your heart with tenderness, and devotion that may or may not serve you well. Best to be careful, but we are being asked to look at those we reunite with our hearts for greater understanding.
With Mercury applying (approaching) an opposition to Saturn our thoughts might turn somewhat heavy, maybe too serious. This may also coincide with feelings of loneliness, and isolation, hardships in your relationships, but try to find a note of cheer somewhere in this week. It is important now to think about things which lift your spirit and put you in a better frame of mind. A good week to watch movies which lift your heart, make you smile, or really cause some serious belly laughs. We can put our thoughts aside even for a short while to transform our energies towards more positive feelings.
Mercury also is applying (approaching) a conjunction to Uranus, offering increased thinking, and accelerated psychic input as well. If your normal speed of thought is busy, you may need to practice some peaceful meditation this week to keep yourself from falling off your mental treadmill. You may find a new theme of originality in your ideas, as this is extremely positive for any creative mental flow. Use caution in your driving, and be sure you take some deep breaths before you open your mouth to speak, so you don't eeek!
ARIES: This week will effect you more personally, as you stand in the wind of change. A very benevolent attitude brings a new friend or love relationship which could be very tempting indeed. Take your time with this, if you can, don't step into fear, and when you do, change your vibration through a thought which brings you joy! Early week pulls you to travel so, take the friend.
TAURUS: It's off with the old this week, and find a new social realm in which to enliven your life, and ignite your heart once again. With so much to choose from it's easy to connect with new grace, love and spirit. Don't stay locked in your mind with past relationships, but make a wish list, call in your angels, and allow life to carry you forward.
GEMINI: Any recent struggle with career issues will be more then replaced this week, as so much of your talents can be showcased now. Allow others to see just how brilliantly creative you are, and do all that you can to step into focus. The Equinox brings a favorable opportunity in your career, be a pioneer, start something new, about you!
CANCER: This week reminds you of a need for some advanced training, some advertising and publicity. Being an entrepreneur and working within international spheres would be beneficial. Also, travel/and or relocation to a city where you can find employment, understanding and true meaning for your life. LEO: The financial crunch is off, or at least the pressure has released enough so you can now breath! The spiritual side of yourself is developing, and all of those little "things" that you think you are "thinking" are your guides and angels speaking to you. Romance could be very interesting this week, as you find just how in tune you are. Go slow, tune down your volume, and know that work is coming.
VIRGO: Even with Aries retrograde, love and finances will go well this week, as a partner will be most helpful in assisting with finances as well as the work or services you offer. Shared ideas will ignite business with a healing, humanitarian flair. What starts now will carry you into financial bliss soon.
LIBRA: While love may sit simmering, and as you consider your options, focus your energies instead on your real talents, the artistic side of yourself; and yes, it really is there! Your musings now will create a new direction, new career, or a new opportunity to do what your heart craves! Leave the past behind, and stay with those fantasies in your mind.
SCORPIO: Work towards your spiritual and creative goals this week, and others will stand in assistance. If you can't make things happen, think again. Write down your goals, speak your intentions, and then watch the magic happen. This is just the beginning. Being at home could be just what you need to focus on yourself, and your future.
SAGITTARIUS: You might realize that you need more education this week as it becomes obvious that in order to climb the ranks of the employed, you need specific training. A wise idea would be to consider taking those dreams that have been dormant for awhile, and let them flow. Any creative ideas could be expressed very nicely in a group gathering. Could you offer a course too?
CAPRICORN: Your daily agenda will get a jump start this week, so be prepared. Family could help out financially, or your own business expand. Teaching, coaching, creating, and possibly finding new space to explore and broaden your life will be just what you need to move ahead. I hear you singing for joy!
AQUARIUS: A phenomenal week rich with promise. Out of the dust of the past stands you, basking in the new found glory of finical blessings, people recognizing your talents, and money coming to you in many new ways. Express yourself, and your ideas, and your dreams of being financially blessed are in your pocket now.
PISCES: With Venus retrograde, you won't quite see the financial blessings, or catch up until closer to the end of April. However, your talents are receiving the notice that you desire. See that you advertise now, as the dust of the past is behind you, and people need to know and see who you are, and what you offer. A new career move pays off.
